UCLA Policies to Be Aware of Before Registering

     NON-REFUNDABLE REGISTRATION FEE

A non-refundable registration fee is required of all visiting summer-only course participants ($150 for current UC students; $350 for all others).  The cost listed above includes this fee.

     FEES AND PAYMENT DEADLINES

Tuition fees are due within 1-2 business days after enrolling.  Please pay attention to your assigned due date given during enrollment.  Delinquency in payment may result in enrollment cancellation.

     REFUND POLICY

If you drop the course before Friday, July 5 using MyUCLA (the UCLA Student Portal) you will be eligible to receive a refund for all associated fees except the registration fee.  No fees are refundable after the refund deadline, and students will be financially liable.

START HERE - Register as a Summer UCLA Student

1. If you are currently enrolled as a graduate student at UCLA, skip to the SECOND STEP.
2. Complete UCLA's ACADEMIC COURSE ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM.
3. Submit online payment for the non-refundable registration fee ($150 for current UC students; $350 for all others).
4. Use your University Identification (UID) number, which will be emailed after successful payment of the registration fee, to create your MyUCLA Logon account to proceed with enrollment. Please keep a secure record of your UCLA Logon information.

MyUCLA will be used for enrollment, bill paying, communications, and course administration.

SECOND STEP - Enroll in Our Course, SOC WLF 270

1. Visit MyUCLA and sign-in with your Logon and password.
2. On the main menu, select "Classes," then "Find a Class and Enroll".
3. Make sure “Summer Sessions 2024” is selected. Search by using the “Instructor” and enter “Cooper, K.”.  Once you successfully enter the search parameters, select “Go”.
4. Enable your enrollment by selecting all the terms and conditions, and clicking "Enable Enrollment." If you’ve already enabled enrollment, skip to step 5.
5. Check the box for SOC WLF 270 Lec 1.
6. Select Grade Type: Letter Grade or Passed/Not Passed. Those taking the class for a Letter Grade are required to write a paper on their leadership project.
7. Select “Enroll” to verify enrollment.

THIRD STEP - Complete Payment

1. Return to MyUCLA Home Page. (you can click on the logo in upper left corner).
2. Continue to BruinBill to complete tuition payment.
3. Verify your email address by going to the Settings page and clicking on "verify" near your email address listed on that Settings page.
4. Return to MyUCLA Home Page (you can click on the logo in upper left corner).
5. Return to BruinBill
6. Review your tuition balance and continue to "Make a Payment"
7. Choose payment method
8. Enter information and follow prompts to complete payment.
